Vintage Amber Madrid Pattern Bowls – Set of 8

Beautiful set of eight vintage amber glass bowls in the classic Madrid pattern. These bowls were produced by Indiana Glass after acquiring the Madrid/Recollection molds from Federal Glass following Federal’s bankruptcy in the late 1970s. Unlike the earliest 1976 Federal Recollection pieces, these bowls do not carry a molded date, which is consistent with later Indiana Glass production. The original Madrid pattern was produced by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1939 during the Depression Glass era. In 1976, Federal reintroduced the pattern under the name Recollection using newly created molds. After Federal Glass ceased operations, the molds were purchased by Indiana Glass, which continued production and removed the molded date from the pieces. No chips, cracks, flea bites, scratches, or clouding observed. The glass remains bright, clear, and retains its rich amber color. Only minimal signs of age and use consistent with vintage glassware.
