Arche Collared Scarf
THIS KNITTING PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD IN PDF FORMAT AND IN ENGLISH ONLY! Arche was the muse of origins and beginnings. The Arche collared scarf is a stylish and warm combination of a collar and a long scarf which is sure to shield you from the cold weather. The turtleneck collar will keep your neck warm and the cabled sides of the scarf can be wrapped around your neck and shoulders for extra protection. The Arche collared scarf is knitted seamlessly in one piece from the top down, with well-thought and polished details such the neat and stretchy tubular cast on and bind off edges and the i-cord edging for the sides of the scarf. The Arche scarf is started by knitting the collar section in 2x2 ribbing. The collar is then divided in two parts, and the sides of the scarf are worked separately in a cable pattern. The pattern is written for DK weight yarn, but you can also use a combination of fingering weight yarn and a strand of silk mohair for added luxury.
