The 5 Micron Silver Impregnated Sediment Filter is manufactured from high-quality polypropylene with silver impregnation to help inhibit bacterial growth on the filter media. It features a graded density design to maximise dirt-holding capacity while maintaining high flow rates and low pressure loss through the filter. This filter reduces or removes sediment, dirt, rust, sand, silt, scale particles and other suspended contaminants down to 5 microns, helping to protect downstream filtration equipment and extend the life of carbon filters, membranes and UV systems.
