New U12 Boys Fall Tryout

NEW Club Development Teams Our Youth Development Teams focus on building skills, teamwork, confidence, and most importantly, a love for basketball. Recognizing that the game will be new to many players, our program is offered in three shorter seasons—Fall (September–December), Winter (January–March), and Spring (April–June)—giving families flexibility throughout the year. Our focus will be to emphasize learning, development, teamwork, and creating a fun, positive experience that keeps players excited about the game. TRYOUT DATE Saturday, September 19, 2026 TIME 10:00 - 11:30am LOCATION Port Moody Secondary School, 300 Albert St, Port Moody ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY Athletes must be born on or after September 1, 2014 (Grade 6). TEAM SELECTION Coaches and evaluators will assess skill level, teamwork, and coachability to select 10–12 players per age group or combined group based on final numbers. WHAT TO EXPECT Each season includes: Two 1.5 hour practice sessions per week League games or 1-2 Tournaments Supplied uniforms (to be returned) Season duration September - December 2026 Program Fee: $399 total Team selections will be announced after tryouts conclude. Parents and guardians should drop off athletes with registration coaches and return at session end. Spectators are not permitted in the gymnasium during tryouts due to insurance requirements.
