La Calma starts with fabric handwoven by Mayan artisans in Guatemala using a traditional backstrap loom. Small variations in the weave make each belt one of a kind. The fabric is hand-stitched onto full-grain cognac leather that is vegetable-tanned with natural tannins, then finished with a nickel-matte solid brass buckle. The soft blue weave has subtle natural tan variation running through it, giving La Calma a relaxed color that works with denim, khaki, navy, or white.
