Antique Oak Chest of Drawers

An impressive antique oak chest of drawers. Two small drawers over three long graduated drawers with original turned wooden knobs. This William IV style of chest was predominantly made from mahogany but unusually this one has been made from solid oak, showing a wonderful grain and depth of colour. The top has been constructed from two thick planks of oak with plain edge details. To the front, there are two carved column legs and two simple turned legs to the rear with a beautifully shaped apron at the bottom. A substantial but beautiful piece of antique furniture.
