White Hair Silver Needle or Bao Hao Yin Zhen is one of the most prized and elegant Chinese white teas. It is grown exclusively in Fujian Province in China and made only from the unopened buds of the tea plant that are handpicked during a short window in Spring. When brewed, the tea is pale apricot-yellow in colour. Delicate notes of honeysuckle and wildflowers dominate at first with hints of white grapes and melons gradually coming through.
