Mudlark Charm Workshop with Imogen Denton

Imogen Denton is a textile artist whose practice explores knitting, sewing, felting, and other textile processes through the lens of found objects, collecting, and archiving. She draws inspiration from both natural and human made histories, which is reflected in the visual language of her work as well as the methods and materials she chooses to work with. In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to sieve through Imogen’s collection of beads and found objects, selecting your favourite pieces to work with. You’ll create your own fabric beads and felted beads, then bring everything together to make Mudlark Charms.
