Flower Fragrance Oolong

Style: Oolong Origin: Fujian Province, China Description: A traditional oolong cultivated for hundreds of years throughout China, this tea is oxidized to the coloration and aromas of a black, yet its lively notes have grown in the crafting of the leaves. Large leaves open to enlivening, clean flavors. The aroma is a sensational experience - from the dried leaf to the fragrance that lingers at the bottom of the empty cup. Would compliment salty, sweet or spicy foods. Tasting Notes: The naturally sweet fragrance of flower meadows awaken the senses with this spring harvested oolong. The first sip lingers with a faint honeysuckle and sweet grass taste, reminiscent of the aroma of spring flowers surrounding the farm. A subtle stone fruit tartness finds its way across the palate. The Oolong tea base is smooth and refreshing and can be enjoyed well into a second or even third steep. Brewing Instructions: 3g per cup. 90ºC water. Steep 2.5 minutes and re-steep up to three times. A longer steep will accentuate the sweetness with little to no trace of astringency.
