Every other part of the effect is invisible. This is the one piece of it your audience keeps, so it is worth carrying more than you think you need. Why you want spares A cartridge holds ten exposures. A charged Scribe Color holds around a hundred prints. The film runs out long before the battery does, and a magician standing in front of a spectator with an empty cartridge has no second act. This twin pack gives you twenty prints — a working night of walk-around, or a full set with a reset in between. Film also loads as a sealed cartridge, so you cannot top up a half-used one. Decorative and metallic frames exist, and they undercut the whole premise — a prediction has to look like evidence. Keep the border quiet and let the picture do the work.
