Potato Printed Tea Towels Class Date: Wednesday, Nov 11, 6-8pm Location: 2313 Beatrice Street #100 Instructor: Dallas Weaving Co. (Emily Robinson-Sogan and Emily Schmidt) Learn the basics of block-printing with potatoes on tea towels! Students will begin this class by choosing one or two basic shapes to carve into potatoes. These carved potatoes will be used as a stamp to create beautifully patterned tea towels. Students will get to take home 2 printed tea towels to use at home. All materials included. Emily R. and Emily S. met while working as textile designers in Dallas. Connecting over their shared love of fiber arts and all things weaving, they have dreamt of finding a way to bring people together while sharing their knowledge and passion for textile arts.
