The housing is designed exclusively for a 12V 10W amber bulb with offset pins (type BAU15s or RY10W, Piaggio part 584332), meaning standard straight-pin yellow bulbs will not lock into the socket base correctly. When positioning the indicator, ensure that the perimeter rubber sealing gasket sits completely flat against the scooter's steel chassis before tightening the mounting screw, as a pinched or misaligned gasket will allow rain and wash water to seep behind the bodywork and eventually corrode the wiring harness terminals.
