The jacket is crafted from a light and comfortable 375gsm Pearl Weave, paired with 12oz brushed cotton pants designed for ultimate comfort. Inside the gi, the collar features a sublimated Halfsumo artwork rendered in our unmistakable Half Sumo Irezumi style. A large, soft screen print embellishes the inner jacket—designed to gently fade over time, giving the kimono a rich, vintage character as it ages. The exterior is finished with high-definition patches, embroideries, and prints that add depth and authenticity to the garment. On the inside, you’ll also discover a unique haiku poem, an added touch that celebrates the spirit of the Halfsumo aesthetic. We have also included a unique high quality Gi bag, with a comfortable zipper pocket that can hold your phone, wallet andother items. This bag is fully machine washable so you can just throw it in the wash along with the GI. The GI fits like a modern tapered GI - It is pre-shrunk, but please allow for an additional 4% to 8% natural fabric shrinkage after the first few washes.
