MONET'S WATER LILIES Hand Dyed on Buttery Soft DK - Assigned Pooling Colorway

Monet's Water Lilies was inspired by Monet's amazing series of oil paintings by the same name. The colors include multiple shades of blue and green. It's an assigned pooling colorway with Lilac at one end as the assigned pooling color. YARN BASE I dyed it on my Buttery Soft DK base, which is made of 45% baby alpaca, 45% extra-soft 19.5 micron merino, and 10% silk, and it really lives up to its name! Like most, this colorway is a little more muted on Buttery Soft DK than on many of my other yarn bases due to the alpaca and silk content. Please note that this is NOT a superwash yarn. That means it can felt with agitation and changes in temperature, so it should be washed by hand in cool water. On the other hand, it can be fulled.
