The outer is made from 100% recycled plastic bottle fabric, giving approximately 6 plastic bottles a second life in every YAWN. Each design is sublimation printed using eco-friendly inks and lined with 100% GMO-free cotton for a soft, breathable sleep surface. We've chosen premium materials throughout, including a recycled zip, high-quality stainless steel hardware and a durable woven 100% cotton strap. Softie was a feather pillow that belonged to my grandmother. Over the years she travelled to 11 different countries and was left behind in a few places, including Matjiesfontein and Lambert's Bay, but somehow always found her way back. Then, on my 52nd birthday, after a long flight to Paris for Maison & Objet, I left my Softie on the aeroplane. I realised only after clearing customs and frantically tried to get her back, but had no such luck. I was a little heartbroken. Luckily my husband joined me a week later and brought my spare Softie from home. YAWN was born from that loss. I now only had one Softie left and there was no way I was ever going to lose her too. YAWN was designed for comfort creatures. You know who you are. A way to carry your pillow, protect it and keep it close, because the best travel pillow has always been your own.
