Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley Release Golden Promise This second iteration of their Heritage Barley Release continues to showcase how Golden Promise barley accentuates the oily, viscous distillate that Ardnamurchan has become known for. This time, they have taken it one step further, maturing 100% Golden Promise distillate ex-Sherry casks. Nose: Brandy-soaked cherry, blackberry schnapps, spearmint, gingerbread, blueberry pie. Flavour: Dried ginger, fresh leather, cardamom, toffee, pancakes doused in maple syrup, pumpernickel. Palate/finish: Jammy, spicy, bold, lengthy. This whisky is bottled at 58.4% ABV.
