The Straw-headed Bulbul Bracelet is inspired by one of Southeast Asia’s great songbirds, a bird known for its beautiful, complex and melodious call. Its distinctive straw-coloured head and softly contrasting plumage become a delicate composition of Japanese glass and gold, capturing something of this small bird and its remarkable voice. Once widespread across Southeast Asia, the straw-headed bulbul is now critically endangered, with Singapore remaining an important stronghold for the species.
