I found this piece at auction and immediately saw potential. I couldn’t bring myself to melt it down — instead, I imagined it covered in tiny star-set stones. So that’s exactly what I did! It had minor surface scratches, so it has been re-polished before setting diamonds across the band. Rather than melting down an old piece of jewellery, I wanted to preserve what was already there and reimagine it into something completely new. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
