White Bamileke Stool, Ø40 × H40 cm

This white Bamileke stool takes its form from the carved stools of Cameroon's grasslands: a lattice drum of interlocking diamonds between a round top and base, finished in soft matte white. At 40 cm across it's the most versatile size: a bedside table beside a linen-dressed bed, a side table next to a slipcovered armchair, or an extra seat when friends come round. The white keeps the sculptural shape light, and the lattice softens the clean lines around it. It sits well with natural rattan, pale oak and our bohemian prints.
