1:35 L4500A with 5cm Flak 41 I - TRUMPETER
The Mercedes-Benz L4500A mit 5cm Flak 41 was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle developed during the Second World War, combining the heavy-duty, all-wheel-drive L4500A military truck chassis with a 50 mm Flak 41 anti-aircraft gun. Powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine producing approximately 112 hp, the vehicle provided mobility across difficult terrain while carrying a powerful anti-aircraft weapon mounted on a rotating platform. The gun offered 360-degree traverse and was intended to engage Allied aircraft at medium and high altitudes. The vehicle represented an experimental approach to mobile air defence, combining the transport capacity of a heavy military truck with the firepower of a larger-calibre anti-aircraft gun.
