TO THE WIRE “Stand for something” 22.00 EUR / 100zł (white) (Choke) Forged in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr Area, TO THE WIRE is proof that hardcore can still feel urgent, honest, and alive. Drawing from the raw intensity of 80s and 90s hardcore while pushing forward with a modern edge, they’ve carved out a sound that hits hard without losing its heart – emotional, energetic, and unmistakably youth crew in spirit. With over a hundred shows across multiple countries, including a 12 dates tour in the US last year, TO THE WIRE has earned its reputation the only way that matters: on the stage, night after night. Now, they’re stepping into a new chapter. Their highly anticipated second album Stand for Something, set for release in 2026 via Choke Records, marks a massive leap forward. Recorded with intention and hunger, and mixed by Brian McTernan (Battery, Be Well) at the legendary Salad Days Studio in Baltimore, the record captures the band at their most focused and fearless. It’s a statement – raw yet refined, deeply personal but outward-looking. TO THE WIRE is a band in motion – hungry, evolving, and ready to leave a mark. If you care about hardcore that means something, now is the time to pay attention.
