This poster features a detail from Gerhard Richter’s Cage 5 (2006), bringing its layered abstraction into striking focus. Silvery grays, muted blue greens, and passages of soft pink unfold across the composition, while sweeping marks and scraped effects create a sense of movement beneath the quiet palette. From across the room, the image feels atmospheric and serene. Up close, its intricate network of overlapping colors and interrupted gestures invites a longer look. The generous white border gives the composition room to breathe, making it a beautiful focal point above a console, in a living room, or within a thoughtfully collected gallery wall. A compelling choice for anyone drawn to abstraction with both presence and subtlety.
