Tierfon Timepiece #6 — ‘Fieldnote’ Second build of the day, and it could not be further from the Tuna. Anything is small next to a Tuna Can case, but this one is a proper 36mm field case in matte brass. Compact, flat, and meant to disappear on the wrist until you actually look at it. It runs an NH35 automatic: 24 jewels, 21,600 bph, hacking seconds, hand-winding, about 41 hours of reserve. Clear caseback on this one. The dial is a white hammered finish, green lume plots, no custom date wheel. I pulled hands from two sets to get the mix right. I appreciate the contrast between the blue seconds hand and the brass of the dial. Grey and yellow NATO. A field note, not a statement. Watch has been tested and is in 100 percent working condition.
