— Cashmere Fur Knit — Made primarily from fibers of Mongolian cashmere goats, this knit uses a luxuriously lofty cashmere yarn. 3-gauge, loosely knitted, it is crafted using a special technique to create a fur-like surface reminiscent of a dog's coat. Cotton is used for the core yarn, while every part that touches the skin is cashmere. This knit material is characterized by its rustic softness and enveloping, comforting feel. We set out to make a knit that genuinely looks like a dog. Not brushed, but truly “hairy.” The pile rising from the knitted surface gives it the presence of a living creature, rather than simply a garment. It feels soft to the touch, a little vulnerable, yet strangely reassuring. It is completely a dog. Available in one size. Although generously proportioned, the shoulder line and body width are kept from appearing as exaggerated as the measurements suggest, creating a balance that works properly as clothing when worn. The V-neck is not cut too deep, leaving room to change its expression with the layer worn underneath. The buttons and placket are understated, designed not to interfere with the material's character.
