There are 2 famous rectangular Japanese Electrum coins: Nibu-kin (larger) and Nishu-kin (smaller). This here is the larger one. Obverse: 2 stylized paulownia flowers, mon crests divided by japaneses character denomination, upper crest within border. Reverse: sylized character design with meji mark at top, pellet outer border Set in a handmade sterling silver setting with polished surface.
