The 188 Twin has two articulated shades on a single plate that can be wall or ceiling mounted. Works very well in front of bookshelves where you can direct each point in different directions for dynamic and functional lighting. The 188 Collection began as so many of our products do: we couldn’t find what we were looking for when designing our kitchen at 188 Hammersmith Road so we decided to make it ourselves. We wanted a practical and aesthetically pleasing spotlight with fully articulated points for maximum range and flexibility. Each spun aluminium shade is dotted with delicate circular perforations around the rim, casting a beautiful light which is not ‘in your face’. The collection celebrates our habit of mixing finishes. Bronze, zingy green, cool stainless steel and unlacquered, solid brass mingle with ease. What started as a practical solution has become some of the most admired lighting at 188 and our most-used across our design projects.
