IsoTek V5 Sigmas 7-Way Power Conditioner with EVO3 Premier Cable

IsoTek V5 Sigmas 7-Way Power Conditioner The IsoTek V5 Sigmas provides seven independently filtered power outlets for a serious hi-fi or home theatre system, combining three high-current outlets for amplification with four medium-current outlets for source components. The Australian package includes a 1.5m EVO3 Premier mains cable. Each outlet has a separate power-cleaning network to help reduce common-mode and differential-mode electrical interference passing between connected equipment. The V5 Sigmas brings source and amplifier power distribution together in one substantial chassis while retaining individual filtering for each output. Seven Independent Power-Cleaning Networks Three high-current outlets and four for sources Three low-impedance outlets use Direct-Coupled circuitry developed from the Titan design and are intended for compatible power amplifiers, subwoofers and active loudspeakers. Four additional independently filtered outlets accommodate source components such as music players, preamplifiers and DACs. Adaptive Gating technology forms part of the filtering design. The published 16A high-current and 10A medium-current classifications describe outlet groups; they are not permission to exceed the supply circuit's or the complete unit's rating. Confirm the total load and mains installation before connection. Noise Control and Protection Power cleaning with a common earth reference IsoTek specifies 80dB RFI reduction under its measurement conditions and 121,500A instantaneous surge protection. Solid-core silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast copper wiring, FEP virtual-air dielectric construction and a fully star-earthed KERP network support the filtering architecture. These are electrical design characteristics, not a guarantee of a particular audible change in every room. EVO3 Premier Mains Cable Included Australian cable construction A 1.5m IsoTek EVO3 Premier mains cable is supplied. The AU/NZ Premier construction uses three 2.5mm² silver-plated 99.9999% oxygen-free copper conductors, PVC insulation, cotton filler, paper wrap and a flexible PVC jacket approximately 10mm in diameter. Gold-plated contacts are used in the terminations. The included cable must have the appropriate equipment-end connector for the V5 Sigmas 16A IEC C20 inlet and a compliant Australian mains plug. System Link and Rack Planning Allow for size, weight and safe cable routing A dedicated System Link connection supports compatible IsoTek units using an appropriate System Link lead while maintaining a common star-earth reference. It is not an eighth ordinary mains outlet. At 450 × 150 × 350mm and 15kg, the V5 Sigmas requires a properly supported shelf, adequate clearance and room for its mains and equipment cables. High-current and medium-current figures are outlet-group ratings, not additive allowances above the mains supply limit. The System Link connector is not a general-purpose outlet. Use a properly earthed Australian circuit and suitable rated cables and plugs. Allow secure shelf support and safe clearance for a 15kg component. Confirm supply and finish availability before ordering. The Audio Experts Take The V5 Sigmas is suited to a system with enough separate components to benefit from dedicated filtering for every power outlet. Having three high-current connections alongside four outlets for sources makes it particularly relevant to a stereo or theatre rack with separate amplification and digital equipment. We would start with the component list, electrical load and rack layout before choosing this conditioner. The 15kg chassis needs proper support, and the included 1.5m Premier cable must reach a suitable Australian outlet without strain. If the system also uses other IsoTek equipment, the System Link arrangement can be planned at the same time.
