👨🏼🌾Orange wine made by Stéphanie & Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck. The grande dame of Gut Oggau! Mechthild is a 100% Grüner Veltliner, sourced from the estate's oldest vines, grown on soils combining limestone and schist. The grapes are pressed using the property's old wooden press, a historic piece that Stéphanie and Eduard have restored to working order. Natural fermentation, aged in old barrels, with no attempt to create special effects: everything is done to let the grape speak for itself.
