Emily Yanito Blackhorse painted the regular production designs for Cedar Mesa Pottery back in the 1990s. She had a lot of natural creativity and helped in creating in house designs as well as her own collector pieces. This piece is a superb example of combining fine deep etching through an underglaze colorbanded foreground.
