Skylark ~ Hollow Body ~ Made in Japan ~ 1970s

Here we have an early lawsuit era hollow body, at this point they were starting to get really serious about making guitars, and they were coming out with some absolute gems at the Matsumoku factory! This skylark would’ve been on a catalogue for Sears, Macys and/or JcPenny, and even though it was made with affordability in mind, quality was never out of the question with these Japanese lawsuits. It plays like a charm and has some really good PAF style humbuckers that really rock! You have an Ash top, mahogany back and sides, and a thin “C” profile mahogany neck.
