2024 S.C.PANNELL Smart Grenache
The eighth release from this 70 year old dry-grown vineyard. Quite some rosy perfume here in with cherry and raspberry, some liquorice richness and spice. It’s medium-bodied and offers a good amount of lush red fruit flavour that’s controlled by a superb set of graphite tannin, acidity sits perfectly within the wine and lends freshness, and the finish is very long leaving a fragrant trail and stony tannin grip.
