Product Description: The Single-Use, Metabolite Absorbing, Resonant Transducer (SMART) Cell-Reader continuously monitors active cell progression, without intervention, and securely delivers data to any internet-enabled device. The SMART-Cell Reader provides continuous, non-invasive monitoring of cell progression by measuring metabolites naturally secreted by actively growing cells. The disposable, SMART sensor which is pre-applied and gamma sterilized, absorbs metabolites through cultivation. An external reader scans the sensor without contacting the culture, delivering growth data that can be viewed locally or remotely. Unlike traditional cell-counting methods that rely on periodic sampling and manual cell counts or OD readings, the SMART-Cell Reader delivers continuous insights into culture performance from inoculation through harvest. By tracking changes in cellular metabolic activity, the system enables researchers to identify growth phases, detect changes in proliferation, and make informed process decisions. Compatible with a wide variety of cell types, the SMART-Cell Reader offers a simple solution for monitoring cell cultures with minimal hands-on intervention.
