Kennametal T131 Venturi Insert Nozzle

The Kennametal T131 is a venturi hose insert nozzle with a wear-resistant tungsten carbide liner. The nozzle features an aluminium jacket and has an outer diameter of 25.4 mm (1"). The T131 is inserted directly into a blast hose with an internal diameter of 25 mm (1"). The blast hose slides over the nozzle and is secured with a suitable hose clamp. This eliminates the need for a nozzle holder. The venturi profile accelerates the abrasive and distributes it evenly across the blast pattern. The tungsten carbide liner provides high wear resistance when used with common mineral abrasives. The aluminium jacket provides a lightweight construction. For use with aggressive abrasives such as aluminium oxide, the Kennametal B131 with a boron carbide liner is an alternative. For a blast hose with an internal diameter of 32 mm (1-1/4"), the Kennametal T132 is available.
