The Great Pie Off 2026 At Morningsun Herb Farm The Great Pleasants Valley Pie-Off Rules Eligibility The contest is open to adult and youth participants. Each participant may enter one pie per category. Categories are Fruit, Cream/Custard, and Harvest/Fall. Entry Requirements All entries must be clearly labeled with the entrant’s name and category. A full ingredient list must be included with each pie. No prepackaged fillings are allowed. All crusts must be homemade. Pies must be entered in only one category. Category Guidelines Fruit: Fruit-based pies using fresh or prepared fruit fillings made from scratch. Cream/Custard: Cream, pudding, or custard-based pies. Harvest/Fall: Seasonal pies featuring fall flavors such as pumpkin, maple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, sweet potato, squash, or pecan. Food Safety Cream and custard pies must arrive in a cooler with ice. All entries must be prepared and transported in a safe, sanitary manner. Organizers reserve the right to reject entries that appear unsafe or improperly handled. Entries must be homemade and made from scratch, except for ingredients commonly used in baking. Store-bought or prepackaged pie fillings are not permitted. Judges may disqualify any entry that does not meet the contest requirements. No cost to sign up your pie! Oct 17th, Pie Drop off is at 9 am. Awards given at 11 am. Please include your name, email and phone number, and in the notes section please list the name of your pie, if known at time of sign up.
