Radiant flooring in our self-built home was one of the best decisions we made. It was not a massive cost addition (~2% of total build cost) and allowed us to heat the building much sooner than traditional HVAC. This meant we could keep things inside from freezing and stay more comfortable while working through the winter. This spreadsheet details the full material list for our system, which will give you insight into planning yours. We wish we would've had this resource when figuring everything out!
