Application & Support Engineer – Advanced Motion and Control Systems

General Description We are looking for an Application & Support Engineer to provide technical support and engineering services to Medital customers across all technical aspects related to advanced motion and control systems. The role includes close collaboration with customers, identifying technical requirements, troubleshooting, and delivering effective solutions in complex application environments. Education & Experience B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or equivalent). Proven experience in mechatronics or industrial machine design – an advantage. Experience working in or with the semiconductor industry – an advantage. Professional Requirements Strong programming skills in C/C++ and C#. Knowledge of Control Theory / Control Systems. Additional programming experience (MATLAB, Python, or similar) – an advantage. Fluent English – both written and spoken. Personal Skills & Competencies Self-driven and autonomous, with the ability to take ownership of customer activities and projects. Results-oriented, with the ability to make technical decisions and provide practical solutions. Proactive with a strong can-do attitude. Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure. Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented. Strong analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills.
