ONE preserved coin with genuine natural unaltered patina in Display Box Bronze prutah of the First Jewish revolt against Rome (66 AD -70 AD) Struck in the second year of the Jewish War, is often referred to as the “Masada coin” because a number of them were found atop the desert fortress overlooking the Dead Sea. Description Obverse: amphora with broad rim, two handles. Around it is the Hebrew inscription "year 2". (“Shenath Shethaim”) Reverse: vine leaf on small branch and tendril, surrounded by Hebrew inscription " for the Freedom of Zion" (“Cheruth Zion”).
