Dream Silk Tube by Tricks Co.

Here is another unusual item from Tricks Co., invented by the talented and prolific Toshio Akanuma. What I like about these effects from Tricks Co. is that they are different from a lot of the effects and methods released by American and European manufacturers around the same time. It doesn’t necessarily mean they are better or worse, but it does mean I often haven’t encountered anything like them before, so they feel refreshing when you haven’t seen them before. This is a double effect that is easy to do and will keep them guessing for sure. You have to watch your angles and keep your eye on the ball with this one, but it is not hard to do and worth thirty minutes of practice to get it down. Come on — you can spare the thirty minutes to amaze people, can’t you? _EF A transparent square tube is shown with three white stripes and three red stripes. A red silk and a white silk is tied together and placed into the tube. With a magical gesture the transparent tube has been transformed so that the red and white stripes alternate. For an added surprise, the silks are removed and this time instead of the two large silks, we find six small silks knotted together in the order of red and white and red and white and red and white.
