4 Week Basic Stone Setting Course - Silver Jewellery Making (Wed 15th July - Wed 5th August)

4 week basic stone setting course for beginners Course Times 12.30pm - 3:30pm (Wednesdays) The 4 week basic Stone Setting Techniques for Beginners is suitable for those with some preliminary knowledge of jewellery making, covers everything from tools needed to creating settings, including tube settings, claw settings and rub over settings. You will also learn how to set stones with a variety of different cuts, such as round and various shaped cabochon stones. Classes are small with a maximum of 4 students allowing for more personal teaching time. You may make several pieces in silver that you will be able take home with you. You do not need to bring any tools etc with you to the workshop as everything is provided. General Info: All base metals and an allocation of silver are included in the cost of the class as well as cold/hot drinks. The class will be run by Martin Drury MA(RCA).
