The Kershaw Tumbler Red is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Dmitry Sinkevich. This master designer from Belarus has had many successful collaborations with Zero Tolerance and Kershaw. The Tumbler is based on one of his custom models: the Headly. The design has a nice kind of 'flow' from the blade to the handle. A sort of wave movement. This makes it fit perfectly in your hand. The cutting edge is slightly 'lower' than the handle to give you plenty of control over the blade. The Tumbler opens quickly with the help of the flipper and KVT ball bearings. The blade is tough D2 steel with a stonewash finish. This steel is fairly wear-resistant, so you don't have to sharpen it as often. When opened, the knife is locked by the Sub-Frame lock. This is a kind of hybrid combination of a liner lock and a frame lock that you only see on Kershaw and Zero Tolerance knives. The handle is made from G10 with an integral carbon fibre top layer. This means the knife stays nice and lightweight .
