The Gift

A Note From the Author As parents (and grandparents), our deepest desire is for our children to be good people, live a good life, and know that they are loved. That doesn't just happen. They need to be shown, guided, taught, and encouraged. We want to help them navigate every phase of life and make good choices. The last phase of life is eternity. Our lifetime on earth is our opportunity to choose which eternity, one with God or one without Him. In order to prepare for that, we turn to God's word. In this age of the gospel of the grace of God, the Bible tells us that God the Son, Jesus Christ, made a way for everyone to be reconciled to God. The moment that we truly trust in the work of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, we are restored to God, our sins are forgiven, we are placed into the body of Christ, and the Holy Spirit dwells in us. We are sealed for heavenly places and our life on earth is enhanced with an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God through study and prayer and growth. We have confidence of knowing who we are and where we are going. What a gift!
