Rhus typhina is a mid sized, multi stemmed summer blooming shrub with large, fuzzy red edible fruit. Grows 15-30' tall in large colonies. Prefers dry, rocky soil in sunier locations. Springhouse is a woman-owned and operated wholesale nursery in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, offering seed-grown, wild-type, open-pollinated native plants. Their mission is to celebrate and perpetuate biodiversity. With a focus on wetland and keystone species, all of their seed is sourced exclusively from within the boundaries of their 34-acre property — truly hyper-local.
