Description Pressing Info Richmond, Virginia’s Ostraca returns with “Thread”, their new album and follow-up to 2025’s "Eventualities". Not ones to slow down, the trio of bassist Gus Caldwell, guitarist Brian Russo, and drummer John Crogan pick up where their last record left off, with six new songs of emotive, heavy screamo and post-hardcore. Through quiet and loud dynamics, the dark and stark "Thread" explores lyrical themes of interconnectedness, fate and the unknowable. “Thread” was recorded in 2025 and was engineered, mixed and mastered by Danny Gibney, who the band worked with previously on “Eventualities” and “Disaster.” The album comes packaged in a matte full color jacket with OBI strip, lyric insert and colored vinyl.
