📅 Dates: Sundays, Sept 13th-Oct 4th ⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM 📍 Location: Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre, Owen Sound Description: This introductory power skating program is perfect for young skaters aged 5–9 who have basic skating ability and are ready to start refining their technique. Our certified coaches will guide skaters through fun, engaging drills that focus on balance, posture, gliding, starting and stopping, and developing confidence on the ice. What We Cover: Correct skating posture and stride mechanics Basic stopping techniques (snowplow and beginning hockey stops) Forward and backward skating development Balance-building exercises and edge control drills Who It's For: Children who have completed a learn-to-skate program and are ready for more structured skating development geared toward hockey or ringette.
