Champagne Bollinger Rosé

One of the great Champagne houses produces one of the great Champagne Rosés. Bollinger introduced their Brut Rosé only in 2008, yet it has already established itself as one of the most distinctive and compelling rosés in the region. A blend of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier, with 5% still red wine added from the estate vineyards at Verzenay and Ay, aged for 30 to 36 months on lees with 15% reserve wine. The fine nose is characterised by pristine red fruitiness intermingling with spicy complexity and mineral whiffs. The well-built, muscular palate has a genuine degree of vinosity. A Champagne Rosé for those who take Rosés seriously.
