A sculptural ceramic vase created using the traditional Japanese raku firing technique. This piece has a smoother, more condensed surface compared to heavily textured works, with rich tones of deep copper, earthy red, and charcoal, accented by subtle smoky and metallic variations formed during firing. This vase built entirely by hand without a wheel, it retains a natural irregularity. Please note: this piece is decorative and not watertight. 10" (h)
