The Two Sisters Skirt embodies this principle, its multilayered silhouette inspired by the traditional garments of Andean women and reinterpreted through a contemporary lens to create a piece that can be proudly worn by all. Designed by Yana Manta (Kinoo Arcentales Cajas) and woven in collaboration with Kichwa families, the textile is expressed through bold black-and-white geometry. Its layered form becomes a landscape in itself—mountains and rivers, earth and water—honoring tradition while opening new possibilities for contemporary wear. From fabric to finish, the skirt is 100% Indigenous made, affirming sovereignty, slow fashion, and the thriving presence of Indigenous creativity.
