Can I Use It For Nighttime Grinding Too? The No-Show Day Guard is not recommended for nighttime wear. During sleep, we tend to clench and grind with significantly more force, and it’s important to have even pressure distribution across all teeth. That’s why a full-arch guard is the better choice for nighttime protection. The No-Show Day Guard is best suited for daytime use, especially for people who find themselves clenching or grinding their back teeth during the day. The 2mm thickness of the Day Guard does offer some bite cushion and separation, so for many people, it’s enough to reduce tooth-to-tooth contact (even in the front). However, since it doesn't fully cover the front teeth, there’s still a chance your front teeth could touch when biting; it all depends on the person's bite and teeth structure.
