Penwythnos dysgu’r amser dyfodol (future tense weekend)28-30 Awst Deposit
Learning about the future can be one of the trickiest parts of learning Welsh. How about joining us in the future to learn how to speak about the future. If you wish to stay the price is £185 for the two nights in a Single Room. To book pay £85 deposit now to reserve your stay. Our fantastic tutor, Jack Pulman-Slater, will lead a full-day future tense workshop on Saturday Marcus will be running the rest of the weekend. I have been learning Welsh for 7 years now and we will of course meet other Welsh speakers across the weekend. Breakfast and one other meal will be provided in the house each day for free but of course you may need a little bit of money for bits and pieces out and about. We usually eat one meal one out. As well as the workshop, we will be cooking, talking, playing games in Welsh and meeting local Welsh speakers. Arrive on Friday at 5pm on the 28th August and leave on the Sunday 30th at 1pm or earlier if you wish. Lampeter is one of the best towns in South Wales for the Welsh language to be heard and used everywhere. Our premises Garth Newydd brings a new level of comfort to Welsh learning. Please note we will only be speaking Welsh during the duration of your stay. *Our biggest financial challenge unfortuantely is handling cancellations. The deposit can only strictly be refunded if notice is given 14 days before the date of the weekend and can no longer be refunded or moved to another date. It is impossible to sell the places at short notice and the weekends fail financially. Garth Newydd is a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning we run as a not-for-profit for the benefit of the community. Money raised from events goes back into improving the space and supporting future activities. Contactpaned@gmail.com Workshop details from our tutor Jack. Whether you're looking to move past the basics or just want to sound more natural, this workshop is designed to help you master the many ways we talk about the future in Welsh. We'll break down everything from the everyday Dw i'n mynd i edrych to the more formal Edrychaf, showing you exactly when and where to use each one. As well as differences in formality, we'll consider regional differences and how different help verbs (bod and gwneud) are used to convey immediacy. Join us in a relaxed, supportive environment where we'll help you map meanings onto some tricky grammar. P'un a ydych am symud y tu hwnt i'r hanfodion neu am swnio'n fwy naturiol, nod y gweithdy hwn yw eich helpu i feistroli'r nifer o ffyrdd o siarad am y dyfodol yn Gymraeg. Byddwn ni'n dadansoddi ac esbonio popeth o ymadroddion cyffredin megis Dw i'n mynd i edrych i ffurfiau mwy ffurfiol megis Edrychaf, gan ddangos i chi yn union pryd a ble i ddefnyddio pob un. Yn ogystal â thaflu goleuni ar ffurfioldeb, byddwn ni'n ystyried nodweddion rhanbarthol a sut mae gwahanol ferfau cynorthwyol (bod a gwneud) yn cael eu defnyddio i gyfleu bod rhywbeth ar fin digwydd. Ymunwch â ni mewn amgylchedd hamddenol a chefnogol lle byddwn ni'n eich helpu i gysylltu gramadeg ag ystyr.
