Hair Braiding Workshop

🌲 Portland 🌲 This Juneteenth, we will have the pleasure of hosting Edna Sebastião @sebastiaoedna for a beginner hair braiding workshop! This beginner-friendly Box Braids class designed for caregivers, teens, and adults who want to learn foundational braiding skills in a respectful and supportive space ✨ The class covers basic hair preparation, sectioning, box braid technique, proper tension, and hair health. Participants will practice on mannequin or doll heads, and no prior experience is required. This workshop is open to all backgrounds and focuses on skill-building, confidence, and caring for natural hair with knowledge and respect ❤️ Materials will be provided, and the event will be from 12-4PM June 19th.
